FAQs:
The Fillmore & Western movie trains are based in Fillmore. However, for filming outside of the City persons need to contact the County of Ventura.

Our “Anywhere USA” main street (Central Avenue) is very popular with filmmakers, as is our classic-looking City Hall. We have a variety of residential neighborhoods (from turn-of-the century to modern homes) and commercial districts, and we’re just 45 minutes from most major studios. Also located next to Sespe Creek and the Santa Clara River.

The Fillmore Film Commission helps promote filming in the City and also works with the community and filmmakers to develop film-friendly policies. The Commission generally meets the first Wednesday of the month at Fillmore City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
