The City’s film permit coordinator and City staff is very experienced with film permitting and can offer suggestions and advice, if wanted, on how to help you get what you want. The office will coordinate the scheduling of police and fire personnel as needed.

The Fillmore & Western movie trains are based in Fillmore. However, for filming outside of the City persons need to contact the County of Ventura.

We have a variety of residential neighborhoods (from turn-of-the century to modern homes) and commercial districts, and we’re just 45 minutes from most major studios. Also located next to Sespe Creek and the Santa Clara River.
